It was jointly initiated by FOR-U, along with the Express Branch and the Logistics Investment and
Financing Branch of the China Transportation Association, with further support from the YouChange China
Social Entrepreneur Foundation.
The program includes activities such as the FOR-U Safe initiative, providing welfare security for truck
carriers; the Children Times FOR-U parenting project, helping truck carriers and their kids to stay in
touch; and the FOR-U Safety and Health scheme, providing health assistance to the families of truck
carriers, including their parents.
In order to improve the diet of freight drivers on the road, FOR-U Freight launched the “Three Meals Program” on September 16, 2022, distributing free nutrition supply boxes to all drivers
The first batch of boxes was delivered to drivers in regions including Hebei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, and Hubei. The supply boxes mainly contain self-heating meals with supplementary dairy drinks, base-forming wheaten food, and dehydrated vegetables. The food is prepared with balanced nutrition according to the standards for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to meet the nutritional needs of drivers when they drive trucks.
